Jewelry Size Guide

General Information

All of our measurements are listed L x W (e.g. 15 x 10 mm). You can find them at the bottom of the page for the product you are viewing.

Rings

1. Finding Your Ring Size:

  • Using a Ring Sizer: Visit a jeweler for an accurate measurement or purchase a ring sizer online.
  • Using a Ring You Own: Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits comfortably using a ruler, then refer to the size chart below.
  • Using a Strip of Paper or String: Wrap it around your finger where the ring will sit, mark the overlap point, and measure the length with a ruler. Compare this length to a ring size chart.

2. International Ring Size Conversion:

  • Keep in mind that ring sizes can vary internationally, so use a conversion chart if purchasing from or selling to international customers.

Bracelets

1. Measuring Your Wrist:

  • Using a Flexible Measuring Tape: Wrap it snugly around your wrist where you would wear the bracelet and note the measurement.
  • Using a Strip of Paper or String: Wrap it around your wrist, mark the overlap, measure the length with a ruler, and compare to a size chart.

2. Bracelet Sizing Tips:

  • Snug Fit: Add 1/16 inch to your wrist measurement.
  • Comfort Fit: Add 1/8 inch to your wrist measurement.
  • Loose Fit: Add 1/4 inch to your wrist measurement.

Earrings

1. Earring Lengths:

  • Stud Earrings: Sit directly on the earlobe.
  • Hoop Earrings: Vary in size; measure the diameter to determine their size.
  • Drop Earrings: Measure from the top of the earring hook to the bottom of the earring.
  • Dangle Earrings: Similar to drop earrings but usually longer and more elaborate.

2. Earring Width:

  • For hoops and some studs, knowing the width can help determine how they will look on your earlobe or face.

3. Comfort Considerations:

  • Choose earring backs that are comfortable and secure. For heavy earrings, consider using earring support patches or cushions.

Neckwear (Necklaces, Pendants, Bolo Ties)

1. Choosing the Right Length:

  • Consider neck size, personal style, and the neckline of your clothing. Longer necklaces can elongate the torso, while shorter ones can highlight the neck and face.

2. Necklace Lengths:

  • Choker (14-16 inches): Fits closely around the neck.
  • Princess (18 inches): Falls at the collarbone.
  • Matinee (20-24 inches): Reaches just above the bust.
  • Opera (28-36 inches): Hangs below the bust or can be doubled for a layered look.
  • Rope (36 inches and above): Can be worn long or wrapped multiple times for a layered effect.

3. Bolo Ties:

  • Typically adjustable, but measure the leather cord length to ensure it fits comfortably around your neck.

4. Pendants:

  • When selecting a necklace with a pendant, remember to include the length of the pendant to determine where it will rest. Measure from the top of the necklace to the bottom of the pendant to get the full drop length.
  • All of our pendants come with an 18″ Sterling Silver Chain.
