Charlene Reano built these wider mosaic inlay earrings at 55 x 17 mm, a format that gives each material room to show itself. Jet, spiny oyster shell, mother of pearl, denim lapis, and turquoise are all present across a surface wide enough to appreciate the contrast between them. The warm reds of the spiny oyster play against the deep black of the jet, and the turquoise anchors the whole composition. A pair with real visual complexity.
