Kathleen Sanchez strung this necklace with natural Persian turquoise alongside white clam shell heishi made by Marvin Lovato of Santo Domingo Pueblo. Persian turquoise has centuries of history behind it, known for a pure, sky-toned blue that has been prized across cultures longer than most American mines have existed.
