Description
The naja is a crescent-shaped pendant with roots in both Moorish and Navajo silversmithing traditions, adopted and refined by Navajo smiths in the 19th century into one of the most enduring forms of the Southwest. Bryant Martinez hand cut this naja pendant and set three Persian turquoise stones at the center and tips to capture wandering eyes. Persian turquoise is known for its pure blue color and smooth surface, a stone that has been treasured across cultures and centuries.
