Description
It took an assortment of gemstones and artists to create this piece! The necklace, strung by Kathleen Sanchez, San Felipe Pueblo, is made of lapis, spiny oyster shell, and kingman turquoise beads. While the pendant, made by Frank Reano, Santo Domingo Pueblo, contains a mosaic of spiny oyster shell, melon shell, mother of pearl, lapis, and kingman turquoise! The silver work that frames that mosaic inlay is a wonderful display of native american craftsmanship. This piece is surely going to turn some heads!
