Kathleen Sanchez strung enhanced Sonoran Gold turquoise beads in a graduating size, from 6 mm to 8 mm, into a necklace at just under 19.5 inches. Sonoran Gold comes from Mexico and brings a warmer, earthier tone than most Southwest turquoises, running from blue-green to gold-green depending on the light. The slight graduation in bead size gives the necklace a natural drape. A good entry point for anyone who wants turquoise with a different kind of character.
